This is a 2 owner Equus Tau Ultimate + Signature Technology Package (Every Possible Option for the year) with the 5.0L V8 motor - 430 HorsePower and 0 to 60 in 5 sec...Purchased at Hyundai of Las Vegas and driven between Nevada and Arizona, it has never seen inclement weather - NO RUST. This Equus has the Heads Up Display, Sport Mode + Snow Mode and Economy, Entertainment Package with LCDs in the back and full audio / video controls in the back, Laser Cruise, Lane Departure, Navigation, Heated/Cooled Leather Seats, Electronically adjusted suspension, 360 Camera view, etc, etc. This EQUUS retailed new at 799. My parents have always used the Dealer for any issues and only top-notch Liqui Molly oils and fluids.
Back in January of this year, my mother suffered a Heart Attack while in the Las Vegas Wynn Casino underground parking...she basically passed out while backing out of her parking spot. She was taken to the hospital and the car was taken to a Vegas PD impound lot. Long story short - it took us almost a month and a half to get my mom back to the Vegas impound lot (only the registered owner can remove cars from Police Impounds) to pick up the car. We took the car to an approved State Farm repair shop and it took another 2 months to have an adjuster stop by...By the time they did show up they wanted to total/auction the car, although it had fairly minimal damage (see pics). My mother didn't understand what she was agreeing to, so by the time we figured it out - State Farm was ready to sell her car through a Dealer's Auction. We had to use legal help to have the car removed from the auction and back to Scottsdale - It was the worst experience ever! We were charged close to $ 3800 just in storage and tow fees! In any case, the car has been repaired and is now with us in Arizona. The unfortunate part is that it will now carry a Restored Salvage Title in Arizona. We tried every possible option to reinstate the original title, but AZ will not budge. The Equus is registered, emission tested, and titled in my mother's name in Arizona. It drives perfectly, starts right up, and has amazing power - all the electronics work. The car is very clean, the interior is spotless - never smoked in and no pets.
Just when we thought that all is well, my mother was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration and the Arizona MVD will no longer renew her license...so the car has been sitting parked. The car can be driven anywhere, it just had Synthetic Oil Service and Coolant Service. It comes with 2 sets of Key Fobs. I have included pictures of the prior damage sustained in the last pictures, the shop did a complete tear down of the rear end to see the extent of the damage. The power trunk was still working even with the dent.  The Equus can be picked up in Scottsdale, AZ and can be driven cross-country.  It was a daily driver until last week.  The car is being sold "as is" and " where is" with no written or implied warranty or guarantees...As clearly noted, it has a Salvage title.  If you are not sure what that means, please read up on it.  The Autocheck report shows 4 owners, but it has been in our family - 2 owners (mom / dad and moved between the states) between AZ and NV.  The last owner is still us, when we had to obtain the Salvage title.
